High On Trampolining

If you’re a fan of trampolines, then you know how much fun they can be.  It’s that feeling of weightlessness as you reach the zenith of your bounce, and that weird sensation you get in your gut as you plummet.  Then what are you going to do? Land on your feet? Your rear-end? Your back? All are valid landing options that offer a varied and enjoyable bouncing good time.  Every session is an adventure in limited flight, as you wonder how much higher you can go.  Of course, safety considerations must always prevail, as you don’t want anybody flying into a wall or over a fence.  Friendly warning aside, it’s no wonder this activity has really caught on with so many people.  Each year, hundreds of thousands of people purchase trampolines, making it one of the hottest products on the market.

Gone are the days when folks were overly cautious about buying one of these beauties.  New materials and innovations have made trampolines safer and a lot more durable.  Best of all, bouncing on a trampoline for a few minutes can already burn so many calories.  This makes it a more efficient exercise than many others, including running.  Ten minutes in the morning, and ten in the afternoon and you’re on your way to rippling abs and toned muscles.  This is a major reason why even celebrities are getting in on the trampoline bandwagon.  Former S Club 7 singer and dancer Rachel Stevens swears by her regular ten minute sessions, something that has helped her consistently hit FHM’s World’s Sexiest Women list.  If you don’t remember S Club, you’d still remember Rachel as she was the hottest girl in the group, and now you know her body toning secret.

Rachel isn’t the only celebrity using this springy apparatus. Madonna, Queen of Pop, and probably the fittest celebrity of her age bracket, loves doing trampoline exercises too.

“Then comes 15 minutes of dance routines on the mini-trampoline before a full 40 minutes of basic moves — skipping and twirling — on the treadmill.”

The fact she has legs that lean while being over the age of fifty is a testament to the effectiveness of trampoline workouts.  Gwyneth Paltrow is also another hot near 40-year old actress, and she has reportedly been bouncing on trampolines as well.  If you’re a fan of the hit musical series “Glee,” you’d know how smoking hot Ms. Paltrow is, no small feat at 38.  So no matter what age you are, getting into the trampoline craze is a fantastic idea.  Learn a few exercise moves and after a few weeks you’ll notice the difference.  And considering the effectiveness and efficiency of fat loss, trampolines are relatively affordable as well.  So again, it’s no surprise these nifty contraptions have become so popular.
